An Opportunity for Overthinkers

Updated: Aug 11, 2022

Find the strength to mentally graduate from overthinking and worrying, to healthy situation-processing and letting go.

Letting Go

It's time to make the conscious decision to let go of that which does not serve your mental wellness. Shift your focus to self-healing instead of relentlessly reliving the past or anxiously anticipating the future.

Follow through on healthier decisions for your overall well-being.

Self-liberation does not begin at some point in the future. It begins in this moment by releasing denial and welcoming growth.

Set Yourself Free

Understand your true priorities without being concerned with negative pride and your perceived reputation.

Release the burden of carrying the expectations of others and set yourself free.

Relentless thinking without progress will empower these demons that currently plague your mind.

This forces most of us to seek escapism through addictive avenues, be it excessive substance abuse, unhealthy relationships, or mindless social media scrolling. Love yourself enough to choose long-lasting wellness over short-term, empty substitutes.

Small Steps are still Progress

Notice when you find yourself needing to turn to the outside for rescuing. Your salvation can be found within. Some forget that this internal divinity exists because they're unconsciously lying to themselves.

It's ok to not be "fine" when people ask how you're doing. What's unacceptable, is feeling "not fine" for too many consecutive days, months, years, and doing nothing about it.

Be open to what you need. Stop silencing your intuition. You deserve better, you deserve to hear yourself out.

Balance and Progression

You can do this on your own through a balanced mix of mindfulness practices and physical exercise. Ensuring you have a creative and/or physical outlet to help reconnect with your inherent self.

This could also involve speaking to trusted people in your life, or a professional. Work towards letting go, towards self-liberation!

Turn to trusted people who help you feel comfortable about expressing points that bring you closer to self-understanding and inner-growth.

Be Brave

A moment does not and will not define you. There is bravery in honesty which is admirable. You are capable!

You'd be surprised by how many people will be able to relate to your truth once you free it from within. Be a catalyst for honesty and inner peace.

It's up to every person to fulfil their daily lives. We cannot rely on others to make us feel worthy or validated. We need to prioritise and maintain self-acceptance.

Accept and Validate Yourself

Once we realise this, we begin to value practices that encourage supportive and compassionate internal dialogues.

When we stop criticizing both others and ourselves, we make the choice to take accountability for our mental and emotional stability and begin to move forward.
